Hi! I’m Ashleigh, and I created Ashleigh in Asia as a way to document my travels across Southeast Asia—both for friends and family to follow along and as a digital scrapbook of my adventures. From hidden gems to unforgettable experiences, this blog is my space to share the journey, the lessons, and the memories I make.

After seven years of life (and sky-high rent) in London, I recently said goodbye to my corporate job to travel the world and start a new chapter with my long-distance partner, Curtis.

Like many travelers in my position, I’m heading to Southeast Asia in search of sunshine, vibrant cultures, and of course, plenty of spicy food and big flavours. But more than that, I’m looking to break out of my routine, meet like-minded people, and immerse myself in the unknown.

Whether it’s wandering through bustling cities, unwinding on tropical beaches, or indulging in local delicacies, this journey is about adventure, growth, and discovering what life has to offer beyond the familiar. As for the future? I’m not quite sure yet where I fit between my old 9-to-5 life and my new life with Curtis, but I’m hoping to figure that out as I go!
